CRESTWOOD, Mo. – A new housing development in Crestwood has prospective buyers camping out to secure their lots.
The Director of Marketing for McBride Homes said they had 800 people on the interested list. Their grand opening was supposed to be on Saturday, August 19, but on Monday, August 22, someone started camping out.
They had up to 31 campers at Crestwood Crossing Wednesday morning, and more people showed up throughout the day. The development features 81 home sites separated into three different villages of single-family homes. The lots are first come, first serve. Prices range from the low $300,000 to up over $500,000.”
“I just got an email this morning while taking my son to daycare,” prospective buyer Clay Northrop said. “I guess I’m going up to the McBride homesite.”
With access to Grant’s Trail and the Lindbergh School District, the interest is understandable.
