Missouri Partnership Adds New Team Member on the Heels of Record-Breaking Year

December 6, 2022 by Staff Reporter

Missouri Partnership is expanding its business recruitment team. The organization announced today that Zach Hampton is joining Missouri Partnership as a Business Recruitment Associate. Zach will be based in the Partnership’s St. Louis office. He will provide assistance to the business recruitment team as they work with global companies evaluating Missouri for their newest facilities.

“Zach has already been a huge asset to the state in his role at Greater St. Louis, Inc. where he assisted with business recruitment projects, many of which we worked alongside him to bring to the St. Louis region,” said Subash Alias, CEO of Missouri Partnership. “Zach brings invaluable knowledge about the site selection process and economic development in general. He is clearly a rising star in the field, and we are fortunate to have him join our team.”

Hampton is a St. Louis native. He began his career as an Economic Development Intern in 2019. He quickly advanced to Project Coordinator at Greater St. Louis, Inc., where he was an integral team member in successful business attraction projects in the St. Louis region.

“Working within economic development and seeing the effects this field has on revitalizing and uplifting communities has been one of the most rewarding experiences of my young career, and I am honored to gain the opportunity to do it now on behalf of my home state,” said Zach Hampton, Business Recruitment Associate at Missouri Partnership. “The team at Missouri Partnership has a reputation of being one of the best in the country, and it’s a privilege to join them in their mission of bringing new life-changing jobs and investment to our amazing state.”

In his new position, Hampton will play a crucial role in attracting companies to Missouri. He joins the Partnership as the organization closes the books on a record-breaking year. Major investments from companies such as Meta, American Foods Group, James Hardie, Simcote, and many others resulted in $2.1 billion in capital investment in 2022.

Hampton holds a Master of Business Administration from Webster University and a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Missouri.
