WFG Quarterly Economic Outlook webinar on May 25

May 22, 2022 by Staff Reporter

The second quarterly installment of WFG Insights: Quarterly Economic Outlook, a webinar featuring Williston Financial Group founder and Executive Chairman Patrick Stone and Economist and Forbes contributor Dr. Bill Conerly will take place on May 25.

The live, web-based Q&A session expanded to an hour in 2022. Conerly and Stone offer opening statements for the first half hour before working through a series of questions submitted in advance by registered participants.

“Our Quarterly Economic Outlook series has grown into a popular and I believe impactful national information forum,” Stone said in a release. “Bill and I bring many years of experience, both as business leaders and analysts, in various areas of the housing industry and the U.S. economy. The response from real estate, mortgage and title industry professionals has been exceedingly positive, with an appreciation for our efforts to offer balanced perspectives on the challenges facing us.”

Stone’s lengthy career in real estate and related services includes C-level positions with three public companies and serving as a director on two Fortune 500 boards. He also served as vice-chairman of Metrocities Mortgage, a 2005 top-20 mortgage lender, and as chairman of The Stone Group, an Austin, Texas-based tenant-represented brokerage company.

Conerly has a Ph.D. in economics from Duke University and more than 30 years’ experience helping companies adapt to changing economic conditions. He was formerly senior vice president at a major bank and held positions in economics and corporate planning at two Fortune 500 corporations.

Reservations are required for the WFG Insights: Quarterly Economic Update and may be made in advance by signing up here. Those wishing to submit questions for consideration must do so at the time of registration, or email them separately to [email protected] no later than 5 p.m. ET on May 23.

“Bill and I want to thank our participants in advance for your questions, as they help us stay really attuned to what’s pertinent and what you’re worried about,” Stone said.
