Dave Mashburn has joined the Kansas City office of Cushman & Wakefield as director, hospitality services.
In his new role, Mashburn will work with hotel and other hospitality investors and developers on investment sales and acquisitions of sites and redevelopment and conversion of existing buildings. Additionally, he will represent investor-clients on acquisitions and dispositions of existing hotel properties.
Mashburn joins Cushman & Wakefield from Mashburn Development, which he founded in 2013. He has more than 30 years of experience in the entitlement, development, design, construction, incentives and management of more than 200 large hotel, convention center, resort, retail, multifamily and mixed-use projects across the country totaling more than $3 billion in investment.
Mashburn has held senior-level positions with such companies as John Q Hammons Hotels and Resorts, Bass Pro Shops, True North Hotel Group and Leisure Hotels and Resorts. A graduate of Central Missouri State University, he is involved in IFMA, ULI and ICSC and holds a Missouri real estate license.
