Virginia-based Highland Title + Escrow added Joe Russo as a senior settlement attorney. He will focus on the northern Virginia and Washington, D.C., markets.

Russo has over 25 years of experience in the business, specializing in residential and commercial transactions, conducting settlements, examining title, resolving title issues, and the drafting and review of legal documents. He has presided over about 20,000 residential closing transactions, working with homebuyers and sellers, developers, lenders, and real estate agents.
“I’ve dedicated a significant portion of my life to real estate. I love everything about it — the people, the cerebral aspect, the day-today challenges — all of it,” Russo said. “The decision to join Highland Title + Escrow was a no-brainer. I can’t wait to get started.”
